Everyone else is joining the roadblocks in Wagon. It makes sense, I guess.
It's like grassroots music production. It was kind of fun.
What I want to know is when is anyone not 12 years old or under play roadblocks?
So now they're saying the metaverse of things, everything's meta connected.
This to me is essentially creating record of ownership on the blockchain.
     That's all the smart contracts.
     Gotcha.
You're listening to the radcast. If it's radical, we cover it.
     Here's your host, Ryan Alford.
Hey guys, what's up? Welcome to the latest edition of the radcast.
It's a weekly marketing and advertising news on Friday, May 6th, 2022.
     What's up, Christina?
     Not much. How are you?
     I'm good.
Hang in there. Do you have a good snick to bio?
Lots of tequila, lots of shots, some body shots with my wife of course.
     Of course, of course.
     Didn't need to know that.
     Happy for you.
     Love that for you.
     Yes. How about yourself?
     Lots of KSO.
     There you go.
I had a show that night.
So, light low on the alcohol.
Yes, yes. It's been a good week.
     Yeah. So far.
     Yeah.
     The show's going well.
Very, yeah. We close this weekend, which is better sweet.
     Okay.
     It's been a good run.
     All right. Yeah.
It's good or better or, you know, overall impressions like, you know, what you expected.
It absolutely exceeded my expectations from like beginning to end.
     It's been a great process.
I think the show is really, really solid.
     I'm very proud of it.
     Nice.
     Yeah.
     That's cool.
It's nice when hard work pays off.
     Yeah.
     Sometimes it doesn't.
     Sometimes it doesn't.
     It always pays off.
You get a lesson from it.
I was going to say that's such a death thing to say.
     Yeah.
I'm team work smart, not hard.
     Yeah.
It's always nice when the hard work pays off.
     Yeah.
     It's been a good week.
You know, this was on the news radar.
It wasn't important enough to make an article.
But if anyone, if you listen to podcasts on Facebook, they're shutting down Facebook podcasts
     on June 3rd.
And I can say this Riley that, you know, it was our least popular platform.
They never obviously pushed it in the algorithm because even though our show is top 100 consistently
in marketing, it never like got any traction on Facebook.
     Right.
And so like they obviously didn't like push it in the algorithm or try to.
     I don't know why they.
     Yeah.
I can't imagine they made anything off of offering that.
     No.
I don't think they got any audience because I don't think they like prioritize is like kind
     of a me too thing.
     Right.
So anyone out there, if you have a podcast or you're thinking about launching one on Facebook,
they shut down on June 3rd.
     No, you can't.
Or you have a month to do it.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     Build quickly.
     Exactly.
     Exactly.
     Exactly.
I think actually you can, it's shutting down faster than that for when you can actually upload,
     I got an email today.
It's had, you know, we're no longer supporting it and it's going to be coming off the platform.
     I like it.
     Okay.
     Who cares?
I thought this was cool too.
So Allison for NC, who was on the show a few weeks ago from camera IQ caught this article
right before we came on the show, TikTok is giving brands a way to create augmented reality
     effects for it.
Social video app with the addition of camera IQ software tools to prepare for release
day that come to collaborate with customers, including Warner Brothers and S.D. Lauder to
create branded AR content on the social video app.
This coming from Allison, this is the very, just the very beginning of AR on TikTok and
still the very early stages for AR overall as a vehicle to drive brand engagement.
     Yeah.
So Allison working directly with TikTok, you know, start to hear folks just get all these
     connections.
     Yeah.
     So congratulations, Allison.
TikTok get again on more and more AR.
I saw one of the things that's had it organically got like four million views of one of the
     posts.
So four million organically, that's insane or yeah, no ads, no, nothing.
     So that's cool.
     Grant's Allison.
I hope that's a profitable venture with TikTok, hopefully you're gouging them.
     There you go.
     Exactly.
     Regularly, but it's cool.
     It's been a good week.
If you listened Tuesday, Torek, Torek, excuse me, I always want to say Torek.
     It's Torek.
Torek, El Moussa joined the show from Flopper Flop, flipping 101.
Torek is a cool guy, really let his hair down and kind of opened up with what it took
to be successful and even gave some dad stories of his dad not picking him to be on the
     team.
He was candid about his struggles and while he's had a lot of success recently, it wasn't
     always that way.
So if you want to learn about flipping, you get some good tips on flipping in real estate
and kind of the path to success.
     So hard.
     That's great.
Next week, Mark Evans, DM, the deal maker drumroll, please drumroll from Mark was cool.
I will say that it's kind of fun to go, the deal maker.
I need something like that, Ryan offered the, I don't know.
     The ad maker.
     Yeah.
We got to get you a title.
     What is it?
     The show, the profit?
We got to find something for you.
     I know.
     I need something.
     The profit sounds good.
     I don't know.
     We'll workshop it.
     We'll workshop it.
     Yeah, workshop it.
But Mark Evans, DM, the deal maker, Mark was cool, been texting a lot with Mark actually.
     Really nice guy.
     Really approachable.
I call, I would use the word available.
Like for someone who's busy running a lot of businesses and doing things, he's makes
     himself available.
     Yeah.
Which is a characteristic that I highly appreciate, you know, because we're all busy.
And if no one is present because you're always connected to a phone or a watch or something,
so that's a nice way to describe someone.
     Yeah.
So Mark was cool, talks about all his businesses.
He gave a lot of great insights for how to grow business, how to think about business.
So the deal maker himself, Mark Evans, joined next week.
     You'll see it everywhere.
You listen or watch podcasts on Tuesday.
     What's that?
     Next up.
     Next up.
     Probably on Facebook.
Maybe one of the last episodes.
     The last one on Facebook.
     Oh.
So everyone that wasn't going there anyway, please don't go there.
We're creating demand for Facebook that was obviously not there.
     Right.
     So yeah.
So I've enjoyed getting to know Mark.
And he is really cool and has a great Instagram profile.
     So you can follow him.
     Mark Evans DM on Instagram.
Get some insights before the show.
Next week I am wearing the newest ass.
     The brand new one.
     Yeah.

I want our little colors in there.
     Yeah.

And a little textured this rogue patch customized by they do custom hats.
     Yes.
     They can customize.
     So you get custom orders.
They've got the new street wear collection.

     Go get them some love.
     Shoot me a DM.
I might give you a hat.
If you see anybody, I've got a couple of people that have DM me and take advantage of that.
So shoot me a DM on me, a hat.
If you send me something like funny, shoot me a joke, you know, there you go.
And then we'll read the jokes on the podcast.

Maybe it's early next is next week.
So hold your breath for that one on pins and needles.
     Yes.
We do have a few social holidays yesterday with Seco de Mayo indeed.
And today, interestingly enough, after Seco de Mayo International, no diet, there you
     go.
     Hell no, not dieting.
Even if you're feeling all bloated from the salt yesterday, it allows you to continue.
     Exactly.
     Exactly.
     Chips and salsa.
I'm going straight into the weekend with no diet burgers.
     Yeah.
     Kind of a burger.
     Yes.
     And then it's national space.
     Yeah.
Like outer space or like give me space.
I think it's a little bit of both taking it any way you want.
     Take up more space.
     Yes.
     Yeah.
Definitely going to take up more space.
     Creating space.
The I think it's meant to be like, uh, be me up outer space.
     Be me up Scott.
     Yeah.
     Be me up Scott.
Right up there in the space.
And Jeff Bezos blasted us up in space.
     Oh my God.
     Right.
     Right.
     Yeah.
In real space, not just met a space.
     Yes.
Stay go buy a NASA shirt it like on a, you know, make your own brand and then buy it from
     branded bills.
     Yes.
Old Navy has a bunch of space.
     NASA space shirts.
     Yes.
So, uh, May 7, Saturday, National Fitness Day.
     There you go.
     No diet for a day.
You're going right into working it off.
     It's good though.
     It's good.
     Yeah.
I'm team prioritize fitness and the what you want.
     Yeah.
I'm going to do some sit-ups or something on the boat at the lake.
     There you go.
     Or some planks.
     Yeah.
Walk the planks on the plank.
     Hey.
     Hey.
     He's a comedian.
     Yes.
     He's got some good blinds.
So, National Fitness Day on Saturday, get your fitness in and uh, May 8, Mother's Day.
     Always a good one.
     Sunday.
     Don't miss that.
We're not going to miss around.
     Yeah.
     Moms.
     I've got a mom.
     My wife's mom.
     You know, the Volga moms.
     The celebrate mom.
We're not going to cloud that with any fun other than just uh, Mother's Day.
     Yeah.
     Do yourself a favor.
     Send mom a card.
If you're listening to this on Friday, you still have time.
     Yes.
     You do.
     Yep.
     It takes a little.
     Just say thank you.
     Yes.
And after all of this, no diet day, National Fitness Day, Mother's Day, it's grab yourself
     on the Scotto day.
     Oh.
     My wife.
I'm going to have my mom celebrate that.
My wife, who's a mom, loves mascara.
And maybe I combine Sunday and Monday to two.
     There you go.
So uh, major brownie points there.
     Yeah.
     Got it done.
     Are you a Scotto?
     I am.
So if I bring a Scotto into the office on Monday and like, is that cool?
     Yeah, sure.
     Why not?
     Excellent.
     Excellent.
     There we have it.
There's your social holidays of dope.
Lots of stuff in the metaverse and NFTs.
It just grows and grows and grows spotify.
It's centered the metaverse with the official launch on Roblox.
     Happy for them.
Company says it's become the first music streaming brand to have a presence on Roblox
with the launch marketing its entrance into the sector.
Spotify's presence on Roblox is called Spotify Island.
     Oh.
     It's fun.
The company explains that through this interactive role, it plans on creating a place where fans
can link up and create new sounds together.
Making out in digital spaces and gain access to exclusive virtual, virtual merch towards
     I enjoy.
Uh, Spotify says that it's creating an easy opportunity for artists to connect with fans
and a partner with Spotify on the creation of in-game virtual merchandise.
So I mean, everyone else is joining the Roblox family, again, so it makes sense, I guess.
It's like grassroots music production, which is kind of fun.
     And I hear Spotify Island.
I don't know why my brain here went.
There was an old TV show called Fentasy Island.
     It wasn't dirty.
Uh, it was kind of, it was funny.
It was like this remote deserted island that like much of a rich people went to was most
     cliche thing ever.
     Totally.
I don't know why my brain went there, but I want to call it Spotify land and like just combine
the words, but that's my brain.
     Hey, I like it.
     Thank you.
     Spotify Island.
Did you get in for that, Nick?
     Thanks.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
Are you going to get on Roblox and go to Spotify Island?
     Definitely.
     See it.
     I mean, why not?
     You build yourself some merch.
     There you go.
     Yeah.
     Hey, it's a good spot.
     Look, Spotify.
I've still been relevant with the youth.
     Everybody's on.
What I want to know is, when does anyone not 12 years old or underplay Roblox?
Like, you know, so speaking of someone older than 12 years, yeah, like I can say I've
     never played Roblox.
You know, it's like, I don't own any adults to play Roblox.
It's more than me that get on it with my kids because I'm researching these brands.
     Right.
But I mean, that's the thing right.
It probably is there's a certain age demographic of children that are on it.
And then you also target their parents because their parents are going to at least be familiar
     with the jargon.
     Yeah.
     I don't know.
So I, but Spotify, Spotify land, Spotify land.
That's what I would have called it.
Which is why I'm on this side of things and not that side of it.
     Spotify land.
     Yes.
     In-game virtual merchandise.
     The Rilling.
     I know.
I do want to make a song.
Go in there and make a jingle.
     There you go.
     Create new sounds.
You know, we don't have enough of them.
     Spotify land.
     Ryan the DJ.
     That can be your thing.
     That is.
I did have to name DJ Hardball back in the day.
I had a friend that called me that and I have no idea why I can't remember why.
     Bring it back.
     Yeah.
In addition to bring it back.
Siri A brings live football slash soccer to the metaverse.
     Yay.
     It's football in the world.
     It's soccer in the US.
I had to put a slash in there.
I was like, do you remind myself?
Because at first I thought I was like, you can get a full football.
     Actual football.
     Italian top flight football league.
Siri A has become the first league in the sport to broadcast and match on the metaverse.
Last weekend it was made available to viewers in the Middle East and North Africa in the
     Nemesis metaverse.
To power the broadcast, they worked with Telco partner Tim in blockchain to create a dedicated
Siri A room on the Nemesis.
     There you go.
     That sounds so threatening.
     It does.
     I know.
Is this like the platform or an enemy or what?
I thought he was a partner.
     He's really a Nemesis.
     A last.
     Yeah.
     Miss lead.
     Yeah, I don't know.
     But okay.
     Feels very European.
I mean, this definitely feels like something that wouldn't happen over in Europe first.
Just to go into the metaverse, which is a virtual world to watch the real soccer game on the Nemesis.
Adding some steps there for me.
     Yes.
     Is that one?
I want to just flip on the TV.
     Feels a little clunky.
     Exactly.
     I don't know.
     How about status?
     Yeah.
     Trends.
     Trends.
     PR.
     The metaverse of things.
This startup is using a microchips to turn physical objects into NFTs.
Imagine a world in which your most prized physical possessions, a product purse, a pair of Nike dunks, a Rolls Royce.
Could be indelibly marked as yours for theoretically the rest of eternity.
So that in the year 3000, when future archaeologists unearthly historic artifacts, they will decode high-tech data that traces all the way back to your own.
That's the promise of the blockchain for digital assets like NFTs.
But would it be like high-tech in hundreds of years when it's old tech?
     Sure.
     Don't overthink it, Christina.
Don't think it doesn't make sense to anyone.
It's best that you don't overthink these things.
     I'm not over-thinking.
I'm just thinking about it in general.
I'm Americana Technologies, and you start up funded by the likes of Reddit, Founder, Rapper, Future, and OpenC wants to bring those possibilities to real world assets.
It's much like the revolution brought by the Internet of Things, but in Web 3, that's evolved into the metaverse, the metaverse of things.
So to the Internet of Things, the Internet of Things was, that's just when everything becomes connected.
Like your doorbell, your car, everything's the Internet connected.
So now they're saying the metaverse of things, everything's meta-connected.
This to me is essentially creating record of ownership on the blockchain.
That's all this is, smart contracts.
     Gotcha.
And they're making it really complicated here with a PR that's very complexly.
Essentially, so you put a microchip on that physical thing, it creates record that you own it.
So it's sort of like, again, a digital certificate of ownership.
     Right, contracts.
That's how I would have phrased all this, and probably, if you own the product, how to call it.
     Digital certificate of ownership.
You would understand what that meant.
Versus everything else I said before.
     It makes sense.
It's just the idea that you would need it to, that you're going to find it in X amount of years.
Yeah, that kind of confused the whole thing.
Just said, I wanted to sell it and make sure that it wasn't a fake or that I was actually the rightful owner of it.
     Sure. There you go.
I mean, you put it on a house too.
Yeah, ship on the home, stop all the bullshit, how to work that happens when you sell a home and you get.
See, and that's where it makes sense practically.
     Yeah.
     Now I'm on board.
It doesn't have to be the metaverse thing.
Just call it the digital ownership of things.
     Right.
     Digital tracking of ownership.
     Yeah.
     There you go.
     Digital filing.
You don't get press or unless you make it super complex and super hard to understand.
     Metapizza NFT.
Pizza pop ups in the metaverse.
There are only a few things that are universally common among people.
     We all breathe.
I think we all feel we all love pizza.
     We can agree with that.
     I love some pizza.
     It's the same.
Metapizza NFTs delivers a hot and ready collection of your favorite slices dressed up in the hottest pieces.
Plus being a holder also means that you score some freeze.
     I like that.
     Let me give you that.
Metapizza's DAO remains focused is to launch a series.
Main focus is to launch a series of pizza parlors where holders can come in to enjoy eating for free alongside their fellow metaverse enthusiasts.
With these pop ups taking only a fraction of the money in time,
you would take to run a full-time physical store that allows flexibility and location and the ability to reach a large portion of holders.
Meaning that everyone gets their slice.
     It's kind of catchy.
100% controlled, uncapped and expanded by the community.
     Upcapped.
     Excuse me.
     I don't know the title.
I really tell you the whole article.
     Uncapped.
Upcapped and expanded by the community.
100% of all profits from communities driven stores and pop ups will be reinvested back in a few furthering the project.
So pizza pop ups in the metaverse.
     Pretty straightforward.
     Yeah.
I can get behind this one.
     I want some meta pizza.
What's your pizza topping of choice?
     I mean, banana peppers.
     Solid.
I will say the sidewall has these little like sweet slash hot peppers.
     Yes.
     It starts with a pee.
     Pepper, are you any peppers?
     Is it those?
     No.
     Okay.
As long as you know that.
     Red mileage.
     No.
     It's not that.
     It's like papina.
     There's something.
     Sure.
     It's not those.
     Okay.
     I believe you.
Those are kind of like a spin-off of banana peppers or whatever.
     But these are like red.
     Yeah.
     And they're tasty.
So I'm doing you no favors by not naming them.
You just get to wonder and go visit our official non-sponsor.
     The sidewall pizza here.
     Oh, the best.
     And the upstairs.
     My favorite.
     In other news.
Gatorade files a trademark to enter the metaverse.
     That's fun.
The metaverse trademarks just keep coming this time.
     Sports drink.
Powerhouse Gatorade is getting in on the action.
     Getting to trademark attorney.
The company filed a claim from the US PTO on April 27th to create virtual beverage products
     among other digital items.
     Gatorade is just the lawyer.
It's just the latest large corporation to launch a metaverse campaign.
And this could be the start of a virtual battle for sports drinks supremacy in the metaverse.
     Ooh.
     Stakes are high.
     Yeah.
     What's the other.
     Powerade.
     Powerade.
     Powerade.
     There it is.
     There it is.
Let's get them on roadblocks and get them smacking one each other.
Is the bottom of the water up there with vitamin water being involved?
     Who knows?
     Read my lips.
     No.
     Just the two.
     There's a small player.
     I don't know if that's a really sports drink.
If it's more like an alternative beverage.
     Sure.
You know, how do you, you can't drink it.
I guess it's no different than anything else.
In the pizza or the Wendy's.
     Maybe.
     Here it is.
Here's how I can see this playing out.
Even though I think it's a little ridiculous.
     Your avatar is getting tired.
     Right.
And you're running out of juice, so to speak.
And you've got a drink, Gatorade, to kind of power up.
     Those electrolytes.
     Yeah.
     To stay.
     Stay going.
I mean, if they need shoes, maybe they need, you know, sustenance.
     I don't know.
You know, everybody's getting in on the metaverse.
     Got to advertise somehow.
     Yeah.
     I think it's stay relevant.
I think it's relevancy advertising in PR still.
I need to see this in action.
     Totally.
I need to see the brand.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     Okay.
     I need to rate up.
I just want to see like Powerade and Gatorade get into like, you know, the sports drink
     wars like Pepsi and Coke.
     Pepsi and Coke, yeah.
     You know, exactly.
I'll just punch each other in the metaverse.
     Call of duty.
     Sports drink battle version.
You have to be a sports drink.
In this corner, we have Gatorade, led by Michael Jordan.
Over here, we have Powerade, led by...
     Shikylinia.
     Shikylinia, I guess.
Whoever was on Powerade, you know, some tennis player probably.
     Probably.
     Yeah.
     We have Rafael Nadal.
     There you go.
Rafael versus Jordan, supremacy for sports drinks in the metaverse.
     Never gonna.
Hey, I just created something that might be more interesting in this article.
Pixel Canvas presents a customizable Web 3 metaverse.
     Power by Pure Web.
Pixel Canvas, a pure web premiere partner, has previewed Omnia, the first of its kind,
customizable metaverse for enterprise, launching in June.
It's a metaverse built on Unreal Engine that will give end users a stunning 3D experience,
which enable enabling creators and businesses to host metaverse experiences at scale.
So, no downward downloads or special equipment needed.
Its Genesis collections will include uniquely designed environments,
many games and in-world experiences from Pixel Canvas's library that we really available to members.
So, this is a way, you know, I thought this was interesting because it's a way for you to kind of
like start building your own experiences within the metaverse.
What I don't know is, it still becomes back to like, there's like 27 of these metaverses.
     Sandbox, Omnia, Pure Web, Nemesis.
     Nemesis.
Like, I don't know how the intersection all these things is coming together.
Yeah, like for as trendy as it is, I don't understand how this is streamlining anything.
It just kind of feels like it's splitting.
Because even when you had like gaming, you had Xbox.
     Right.
     You had PlayStation.
     Okay.
Well, it was really just like Sony versus Nintendo.
And as I, okay, I'm going to choose one.
I'm going to go to the channel and then some games that are crossing over and all that.
     Right.
     But you had two platforms.
     Right.
Now there's 37 of these platforms and 26 executions and it's great.
I get where they're going and no one's like denying like some of the stuff is the future.
But there's going to have to be some big players.
I know meta Facebook changed their name.
It's probably going to be in the middle midst of all this, but how all this stuff works together.
Yeah, the longevity is definitely because who was interesting to me?
You know, we're talking about this because we're remarketing and advertising news and this stuff crosses over into it.
And certainly we're informing our listeners.
But the mainstream is not aware of all this.
     Right.
And how all this comes together is anyone's guess.
     Yeah.
     So pushy would caution.
     Be aware.
     Be aware.
But if you do want to get some good PR.
     Just just be ridiculous.
In FT attached to it or Web 3.
     Yep.
     Yep.
Instead of anything that might make it easier to understand.
I do like this Snapchat partnering with cameo to streamline brand creator add deals.
Snapchat and bailed a partnership with the video shout out app cameo as part of its presentation.
     At the internet.
Interactive advertising bureau's new newsfronts Tuesday.
The snap and cameo program was developed with cameo for business and gives Snapchat.
Average has access to the platforms talent pool of over 45,000 personalities who create custom short video ads to run on the social media app.
Service expected to become wildly available.
I do think cameo is pretty cool.
Have you seen you play with that?
     Have you ordered one?
     No.
     I haven't.
     But I'm familiar with it.
     And ordered one.
     You know.
I'll never feel like the first one I saw God rest his soul just passed away with Gilbert Godfrey.
     He was on there.
He just passed away a few weeks ago.
There are a lot of actors from the west wing who do them.
And I've thought about getting one for a friend of mine.
     Yeah.
     Like Happy Birthday or something.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     It's I think it's fun.
     I do too.
I kind of wanted to use it for like marketing purposes like you know to promote something.
I think that's like against their rules.
I was going to say I wonder if you could do that.
     Yeah.
     If it let you.
You can do it like if you're if you don't just call on out like make the scripts like something
     that's just promoting it.
     Right.
But maybe just saying like the name or something.
     I don't know.
     Settle T is key.
     Like radical.
     Right.
     Right.
     Yeah.
We can put it in there.
What's one of your favorite words?
     Radical.
     Oh.
     Is that so?
     There we go.
Get back to our way in this.
     But cameo and Snapchat.
     I feel like Snapchat's fading a bit.
     But I do like cameos.
     Yeah.
I like that they're bringing it and having it integrated.
And that pairing makes sense to me.
     Yeah.
So get on there and check out Snapchat and cameos coming soon.
Amazon is looking to lower brands with new streaming tech integrations made his parents.
     Also the newsfronts showcased.
Focus on three areas of his video business ad supported live streaming.
And the streaming rights to NFL Thursday was going to fake next season.
There are both prime video and freebie originals are beta testing a virtual product placement tool
that can drop approved brands into programming on a plug and play basis after filming has wrapped.
     That's cool.
     That's going to be interesting.
I'm going to see how that happens.
     Fix it in post.
     Virtual product placement.
So I guess you can like look at this table right here.
You can just like virtually drop a cocoa in there.
     Right.
Or if you had a soda on there, you could probably just put a label.
     That's kind of nice.
Well, Nick kind of does that now.
You've had it added in stock sort of like maybe not pride per say.
     But that's feasible, right?
     Yeah.
     Definitely.
     Yeah.
So we can start adding in sponsors after the fact to react.
     It's not easy though, right?
     That's that's that's a pain can't it depends on the software.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
Like you could put like if you're watching the video like this was based right here, we could put a logo or something right there.
Like if we wanted like after the fact like someone listening wanted to add a sponsor and you know wanted us to go back
and backtrace all our episodes take a lot of work and you pay a lot of money.
But we could put your logo right here in theory, right?
     Right.
     Not no different.
     So that's cool.
     I like it.
     New tech iterations from Amazon.
     Yeah.
I think we talked about this earlier, but officially Starbucks is launching NFTs this year offering unique experiences and benefits.
     Air quotes.
Would you like an NFT with your Starbucks latte?
Coffee giant this week announced its plan to enter the web through space with the launch of its own NFT collection later this year.
They're going to have collectibles and exclusive experiences.
     So it's coming soon.
     There you go.
     Virtual coffee with your coffee.
     More beverages.
     Exactly.
Your avatar can be hopped up on casting.
I was going to be calculated in a metaverse.
I might be more intrigued by it.
Cool down with a Gatorade bath.
A bath in the Irish Springs.
     Yeah.
     Exactly.
Instagram is testing a TikTok like full screen feed.
     Yeah.
A new Instagram test would make the app look even more like TikTok.
According to tech crunch, Instagram is experimenting with full screen virtual home feeds.
Upon opening the Instagram app users immediately see vertical content meant to bring video more front and center.
     Yeah.
     Cool.
     I get it.
     I mean, that's what happens.
     It's like boom.
     Whole screen.
You know, I don't even think about this.
Like when I open Instagram, I don't even know if I would have noticed that this was a change.
But do you open Instagram now?
You don't immediately get hit with video.
     You get with your feed.
     That's true.
There might be a video in it.
     Right.
     You click reels.
You've got the you've got the borders of the app.
     Yeah.
You know, back in the day when it had to like your pictures had to be square.
     Yes.
     So annoyed with that.
So, you know, maybe I would have noticed it.
     Yeah.
     It makes sense.
     Yeah.
     It's just.
     I don't know.
     It's a little.
     Me too.
I think it's interesting all these brands are copying each other as opposed to trying to find ways to set themselves apart.
     Yeah, to innovate.
     Yeah.
     How do you innovate?
     Right.
     You would be cool.
Maybe like instead of like one, it brought up multi-screen, like four screens, like four videos.
Like so your mind can really go crazy.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     I mean, it's really ADD.
     Stimulation.
     Right.
     Right.
Which one do I like best?
And you can immediately touch the one you want to see.
     Yeah.
You know, if you cannot like a, I don't know, tender for Instagram videos.
Like which video do I like best?
It would certainly help with analytics.
     Yeah.
     Probably.
I gamified a little bit, guys.
     Like innovation.
I mean, I'm just, I'm throwing shit out there.
     Yeah.
So it's not quite as mindless.
     Yeah.
     Like don't just be good.
     There's something there.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
You could be like back to that tender left and right thing.
Like whether, like if you like it or don't like it.
Or that would inform your algorithm.
     There you go.
     There.
     That was free folks.
You know, it took me all of it.
I actually like really like that because you could have like a celebrity on one side and then someone you actually know and decide.
     Okay.
And if you push up or down, it's a maybe sometimes.
     Yeah.
     Always.
     Sometimes always.
     Maybe he's never.
     Oh my god.
     We're starting on social media.
     That should be the app.
Like I sometimes want to see these videos.
I always want to see these videos.
I never fucking want to see that.
     Yeah.
And maybe ask me again later.
     Ask me in two months.
     Right.
     There you go.
     Up down left right center.
     There you go.
I mean, how hard is it?
     There we go.
We just innovated the entire video experience for reals.
     Call me Instagram.
That I'm going to trademark that.
     Slide into those DMs.
     Slide them into the DMs.
     So TikTok full screen.
I think that's enough news for today.
     I'd agree.
     We covered some stuff.
     Parting words.
     No, not today.
Have a great week and everybody.
     Yeah.
     Yeah.
     If you're out there.
     Mother's Day.
     Yes.
     Do not forget Mother's Day.
     Don't forget mom.
