When You Remember You’re Made of Stardust

Notes from the Edge

How Looking at the Universe Can Shrink Even Our Biggest Problems

What happens when you stop looking at your life through the lens of your problems… and start looking at it through the lens of the universe?

In this episode of Midnight Menopausal Meanderings, I’m reflecting on a conversation that reminded me of something I’d forgotten.

We’re not just people trying to survive another Monday.

We are energy. We are consciousness. We are spiritual beings having an intensely human experience.

There are more than two billion galaxies we know of. We’re living on a spinning rock orbiting a flaming ball of fire, with another rock lighting our night sky. When you zoom out far enough, something extraordinary happens.

Your problems don’t disappear.

They simply find their proper size.

Drawing from my background studying theology, years of recovery, trauma work, and my own search for meaning, we’ll explore what science, spirituality, and awe have in common, and why remembering how small we are can actually make us feel more connected instead of less.

This isn’t about escaping reality.

It’s about expanding it.

If you’ve been overwhelmed, exhausted, grieving, or feeling trapped inside your own mind, this conversation is an invitation to look up.

Sometimes the perspective we’ve been searching for has been above us all along.

Welcome to the Edge.
