In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I discuss how fear can often be your greatest motivator with my podcast producer, Tony. I talk about how my fear of getting fat led directly to my binge eating habit, but also how a greater fear of not being able to live my life led me to stop binge eating altogether. I also discuss situations in which fear needed to be overcome in order to make progress in life, how fear can tell you what you need to do, my insecurities at a young age about my height, why discipline isn't always applause-worthy, why people need to get better about being offended, and finally, what my own worst fear is right now. To hear Patti's story, check out this podcast.
To hear Coach Susan Niebergall's turning point on bulking, check out this podcast. Do you have a question or episode idea that you want us to discuss on the podcast? Send them to Tony: https://www.instagram.com/tone_reverie/ I hope you enjoy this episode and, if you do, please leave a review on iTunes (huge thank you to everyone who has written one so far). Finally, if you've been thinking about joining The Inner Circle but haven't yet... we have hundreds of home and bodyweight workouts for you and you can get them all here: www.sfinnercircle.com.

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I bring along Tony, my podcast producer, for an in-depth discussion on program design and, specifically, how to design your own workout program.
We walk through, step by step, how to design your own workout program, leaving no stone unturned and no rabbit hole unexplored. We cover goal setting, exercise frequency, exercise order, rest periods, exercise selection, periodization, and more. This is a master class in the conjugate method and how I like to think about how to design your own workout program. So grab a notebook and buckle up, this is a long one. There was so much to cover that we will be recording a Part 2!
Follow Tony and leave him a nice message on his instagram @tone_reverie - he's a bit shy!
I hope you enjoy this episode and, if you do, please leave a review on iTunes (huge thank you to everyone who has written one so far).
Finally, if you've been thinking about joining The Inner Circle but haven't yet... we have hundreds of home and bodyweight workouts for you and you can get them all here: www.sfinnercircle.com.
If you leave a 5-star review and ask a question about program design that we answer in Part 2 of this episode, you will get a free month in the Inner Circle - so go ahead and leave that review.

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini Podcast, I shoot the breeze with Inner Circle Coach, Susan Niebergall (IG: @susanniebergallfitness) in which we do a live Q&A answering your questions from Instagram. A few of the questions we answer are:
- What's the difference between whey protein and casein protein?
- Do you think the fitness industry is too saturated for new coaches?
- How to fuel workouts in a calorie deficit? I feel so depleted!
- I am following your 1,2,3 method of eating. Does it work best to count calories, too?
- If calorie counting isn't the best thing for me what do I do to make sure I'm in a calorie deficit?
- Any advice for not feeling bad after you binge? I feel so guilty.
- How to get over feeling nervous trying jiu jitsu? Especially as a woman.
- What is The Inner Circle Retreat?
- Should I sacrifice sleep for a workout even if it's the only way to get it done?
I hope you enjoy the episode. And, if you've been thinking about joining The Inner Circle but haven't yet...we have hundreds of home and bodyweight workouts for you and you can get them all here: www.sfinnercircle.com.

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I talk about what it means to me to be a dad. I talk about the various father figures in my life and what I can take with me as I think about becoming a father myself. By tracing my story through the lens of these different men that I have looked up to at different times in my life (and my mother, as well) I hope to have a candid conversation that my future children can look back on so that they can know and understand their father just a little bit better. I also reveal the gender of our baby who will be here with us so soon! It's a long one but I pour my heart out and I'm so grateful to be able to share my journey with you.
I hope you enjoy this episode and, if you do, please leave a review on iTunes (huge thank you to everyone who has written one so far).
